1.) Why should I join Tau Beta Pi?

Tau Beta Pi is among the most prestigious honors any engineering student can achieve and it's network spans the globe. By becoming a member of Tau Beta Pi, you are able to permanently access global networks, job portals, scholarship, and fellowship opportunities. Our chapter, CA-AA offers numerous community service and professional development opportunities to help our members grown personally, professionally, and academically.

2.) How do I join Tau Beta Pi?

The two pillars of Tau Beta Pi are academic excellency and good character. Because of this, you must under go two separate evaluations: character and academic. You automatically become a TBP candidate if you are the top 1/8th of the Junior Engineering class or the top 1/5th of the Senior Engineering class. To become an electee to be initiated, you must undergo a character evaluation deemed by the officer team of that semester. This evaluation can take form in one or two of the following interviews, personal introduction videos, resumes, community service events. For this year's character evaluation please reach out to the current Initiation Chair.

3.) What Majors are eligible to join?

All engineering majors within the College of ECC are able to join.

4.) What does Tau Beta Pi do on campus?

As a club we hope to be engaged within our campus through interreacting with other clubs and departments. We are planning on host multiple events in the upcoming semester and increasing our footprint outside of our society.
